Number of years in accounting: 21 years. I have 8.5 years as a controller at Maverick Transportation, 10 years in banking as a financial analyst, investment company controller, budget manager, payroll supervisor and special projects coordinator.

Awards: In college, I was a member of the Accounting Honorary Society at MSCW. I was awarded a Maverick Star twice for outstanding performance and going beyond the call of duty on working on a couple of different projects.

Committees: I have worked with Junior Achievement on several occasions in fund raising activities and in mentoring junior high students.

Organizations: I have been a member of Arkansas' ASCPA chapter for several years.

Family members: My husband is James. We have been married 12 years. Our blended family has 2 daughters and one son. Staci is the oldest at 21. She is married to Nathan and they have one daughter, Madison and are expecting another daughter in August. Nikki is the middle child and is 20 years old. She is living on her own and working as a bank teller at Eagle Bank. Tony, the youngest and my son, is 19. He is also living on his own and currently working at Wal-Mart in Lonoke. We are empty nesting and beginning to enjoy it. Now I can travel without worrying about my children at home. My husband stays home and baby sits our 2 Chihuahuas - Cinco and Dottie.

Hobbies: I love the outdoors. My husband and I enjoy camping, fishing and canoeing. I enjoy landscaping the yard. Since the kids have moved out, we have redecorated the whole house! My passion is photography and collecting jewelry. I am nominated as the family photographer at all family gatherings and currently take the birthday party pictures for my neighbor's son. It is a lot of fun.
